GRAVEL CONSTRUCTION DRIVE AND PARKING AREA:
A. INSPECT WEEKLY AND AFTER EACH STORM EVENT.
TOPSOIL:
A. INSPECT WEEKLY UNTIL VEGETATION IS ESTABLISHED.
TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT SEEDING:
A. INSPECT PERIODICALLY, ESPECIALLY AFTER STORM EVENTS, UNTIL
THE STAND IS SUCCESSFULLY ESTABLISHED.
B. PLAN TO ADD FERTILIZER THE FOLLOWING GROWING SEASON
ACCORDING TO SOIL TEST RECOMMENDATIONS.
C. REPAIR DAMAGED, BARE, OR SPARSE AREAS BY FILLING ANY
GULLIES, RE-FERTILIZING, OVER- OR RE-SEEDING, AND MULCHING.

B. REMOVE DEPOSITED SEDIMENT WHEN IT REACHES HALF THE HEIGHT
OF THE SANDBAGS AT THE LOWEST POINT.
C. REMOVE THE SANDBAG INLET PROTECTION AND SEDIMENT DEPOSITS
PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF PAVING OPERATIONS.
CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE SCHEDULE OF EROSION CONTROL IMPLEMENTATION
1. SILT FENCE AND/OR STRAW BALES SHALL BE PLACED AROUND EXISTING
STRUCTURES AND IN DITCHES AS SHOWN IN THESE PLANS BEFORE ANY
LAND DISTURBING ACTIVITIES ARE STARTED.
2. CONSTRUCT TEMPORARY GRAVEL ENTRANCE AND PARKING AREA IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE "INDIANA HANDBOOK FOR EROSION CONTROL IN
DEVELOPING AREAS."
3. STRIP TOPSOIL AND REMOVE FROM SITE.
4. ROUGH GRADE SITE. DISTURBED AREAS SHOULD BE SEEDED
IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING ROUGH GRADING. AREAS THAT WILL NOT BE
DISTURBED AGAIN SHOULD BE PERMANENTLY SEEDED. NO
UNVEGETATED AREAS SHOULD BE EXPOSED FOR MORE THAN SEVEN
DAYS.
6. CONSTRUCT BUILDING STRUCTURES, INSTALL CURB, STORM STRUCTURES
AND FINAL GRADE SITE. INSTALL STORM SEWER AND DRAINAGE SWALE
RELATED EROSION CONTROL MEASURES AS SOON AS INSTALLATION AND
FINAL GRADING IS COMPLETE. ALL EROSION CONTROL BLANKETS SHALL
BE INSTALLED PER MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS AS SOON AS
FINAL GRADING IS COMPLETE.
7. FINAL PAVING OPERATIONS. TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL MEASURES
SHALL REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL VEGETATION IS SECURE.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND GENERAL NOTES:
1. THIS PROJECT INVOLVES THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COMMERCIAL
BUILDING HOUSING A BANK AND RETAIL SPACE. CURBS, WALKS, AND
PARKING NECESSARY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED
AS WELL. SURFACE DRAINAGE AND A STORM DRAIN SYSTEM SHALL
BE UTILIZED FOR STORM WATER COLLECTION. DRAINAGE WILL BE
DETAINED IN AND UNDERGROUND DETENTION SYSTEM AND DISCHARGED
INTO AN ADJACENT REGULATED DRAIN. WATER, SANITARY SEWER,
GAS, AND ELECTRIC UTILITIES SHALL ALSO SERVICE THE PROPERTY.
2. NO WETLANDS ARE LOCATED WITHIN MESE PROJECT LIMITS.
3. THERE ARE NO FLOOD PLAINS, FLOODWAY FRINGES, OR FLOODWAYS
WITHIN THE PROJECT LIMITS PER FIRM MAP #1800810011C, MAY 19,
1981.
4. THE RECEIVING WATER FOR THE SEDIMENT FOREBAY AND EXISTING
DETENTION POND IS CEMETERY CREEK.
5. THERE ARE NO POTENTIAL AREAS WHERE STORM WATER MAY ENTER
THE GROUNDWATER.
6. THE EXISTING SITE IS PRESENTLY COVERED IN GRASS WITH TREES AS
NOTED ON THE PLAN.
7. THERE WILL BE NO STOCKPILING OF TOPSOIL OR BORROW AREAS.
