General Notes
1. ALL WORK IS TO BE COMPLETED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH ALL
APPLICABLE CODES, ORDINANCES, RULES, REGULATIONS, AND
STANDARDS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE INDIANA BUILDING CODE,
THE INDIANA PLUMBING AND GAS CODE, THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE,
THE INDIANA FIRE PREVENTION CODE, THE AMERICANS WITH
DISABILITIES ACT (ADA), AND APPLICABLE TRADE STANDARDS. ALL
APPLICABLE RULES REGULATIONS ARE TO BE THE MOST CURRENT
ADOPTED EDmON.
2. VERIFY EXISTING CONDITIONS AND DIMENSIONS PRIOR TO WORK
INVOLVING EXISTING CONDmONS
3. COORDINATE THE WORK OF EACH TRADE WITH THE WORK OF ALL OTHER TRADES.
4. ALL DIMENSIONS ARE FROM FACE OF STUD OR FACE OF EXISTING, U.N.O.
ANY DIMENSIONS THAT ARE NOT SHOWN OR DEEMED QUESTIONABLE ARE TO
BE VERIFIED BY THE ARCHITECT. DO NOT SCALE DIMENSIONS FROM DRAWINGS.
5. FLOOR SHALL BE CLEANED, SMOOTH AND LEVEL FOR INSTALLATION OF
NEW FLOOR FINISHES AS SCHEDULED.
6. SEE A201 PLAN LEGEND FOR WALL CONSTRUCTION AND WALL TYPES.
7. ALL WALLS SCHEDULED TO REMAIN SHALL BE PATCHED, REPAIRED AND SANDED
SMOOTH IN PREPARATION FOR NEW FINISHES.
8. PROVIDE CONCEALED WALL BLOCKING AS REQUIRED WHERE NEW
SHELVING, PLUMBING AND CASEWORK ARE NOTED.
9. LOCATE NEW DOORS 4" FROM SIDE WALL U.N.O.
10. CAULK ALL JUNCTURES BETWEEN DIFFERENT MATERIALS.
11. CAULK ALL COUNTERTOP BACKSPLASHES TO WALL USING SILICONE
SEALANT IN COLOR AS SELECTED BY ARCHITECT.
12. ALL FIRE EXTINGUISHER CABINETS TO BE PAINTED TO MATCH WALL FINISH.
LJFESAFETY CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY NEED FOR ANY ADDmONAL FIRE
EXTINGUISHER CABINET LOCATIONS. IF ADDITIONAL FIRE EXTINGUISHER
CABINETS ARE REQUIRED, LOCATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO ARCHITECT
FOR LOCATION REVIEW FOR AESTHETICS PURPOSES ONLY.
13. ALL FINISHES TO BE SELECTED BY OWNER. G.C. TO COORDINATE ALL
FINISH PLANS WITH OWNER PRIOR TO PROJECT START.

Scope Drawings:
These drawings indicate the general scope of the project
in terms of architectural design concept, the dimensions of
the building, the major architectural elements and the type
of structural, mechanical and electrical systems.
The drawings do not necessarily indicate or describe all
work required for full performance and completion of the
requirements of the Contract.
On the basis of the general scope indicated or described,
the trade contractors shall furnish all items required for the
proper execution and completion of the work.
