The sign(s) advertises for 703 E 1061' Street in Home Place, a property listed under your ownership. BUSINESSES ARE NOT PERMITTED TO DISPLAY TEMPORARY SIGNS, regardless of whether or not the sign is located on the business's premises. According to Section 25.07.01-4 Prohibited Signs, of the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance the following sign(s) are prohibited: (f) Signs consisting of banners, posters, pennants, ribbons, streamers, strings of light bulbs, spinners or similar devices, unless they are permitted specifically by other sections of this Ordinance. This letter shall serve as the first and final warning for this type of violation. As an alternative to banners, tenants may cover up to thirty percent of their window area with signs that are placed on the inside of the window. Alternatively, permanent signs may be applied for and approved by the City of Carmel. Please remove the illegal banners by October 16, 2009.
