When that sign is proposed to be erected, the owner at that time would be responsible for filing the variances required. The new wall signs will require variance approval. The previous approvals are null void. Thanks, ct Original Message From: Sherry [mailto:sherrym @asignbydesign.com] Sent: Monday, March 17, 2003 2:13 PM To: CTingley @ci.carmel.in.us Subject: Tom Wood Lexus ADLS Amendment -52 -03 Page 1 of 1 Connie, I received the fax concerning the ADLS hearing on April 3. 2003. As per Jon's questions, it is Tom Wood not Tom Woods. At this time, we have nothing to do with the proposed subdivision sign. We have not seen renderings and this sign has not been discussed with us. Do we have to file for all new variances for the building signage? Thanks for your help. However, one could argue that they have not acted on their variance approved signs with the one year prescribed by Ordinance and they are therefore void. I'm not going there. Jon, I am beginning to review the sign permit applications for Tom Wood Lexus....and I have run into a few questions. Tom Wood and Tom O'Brien came through in July 2000, with several variances pertaining to signage for these two buildings, as well as monument signs. 1 see that in Tom O'Brien came through twice in 2002 with ADLS Amendments for their signage. I DO NOT see that Tom Wood Lexus has ever established an ADLS with the Plan Commission Does Tom Wood need to get these signs approved by the Plan Commission The variances for this building were for Four Special Use Signs and to allow for an off premises ground sign.
