DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES /ff Division of Planning Zoning LETTER of GRANT June 24, 2003 William Payne Fanning/Howey Associates 9025 North River Road, Suite 200 Indianapolis, IN 46240 Re: Orchard Park, Lot 78m, Block B Orchard Park Elementary Dockets #V -45 -03 through V -48 -03 Dear Mr. Payne, At the meeting held Monday, June 23, 2003, the Carmel/Clay Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action regarding the Development Standards Variances filed by you on behalf of Carmel/Clay Schools Orchard Park Elementary for property located at 10404 Orchard Park South Drive: APPROVED: Docket No. V -45-03, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section 25.07.02 -05(b) in order to establish two (2) institutional signs. The Board voted three (3) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition. APPROVED: Docket No. V- 46-03, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section 25.07.02 -05(c) in order to establish a 36 -sq -ft institutional sign. The Board voted three (3) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition. APPROVED: Docket No. V- 47-03, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section 25.07.02- 05(c)(ii) in order to establish a 24 -sq -ft changeable copy sign. The Board voted three (3) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition. APPROVED: Docket No. V- 48 -03, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section 25.07.02 -05(d) in order to establish a 6- ft -2 -in tall ground sign. The Board voted three (3) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition. Please be advised that per Section 25.07.07: Sign Permits of the Zoning Ordinance, the signs approved pursuant to the aforementioned Development Standards Variances must be established within one (1) year. The expiration date of the approvals is Wednesday, June 23, 2004. When applying for Sign Permits for these structures, please include a copy of this letter with your application materials in order to assist the Department's review.
