Dobosiewicz Planning Zoning Administrator Department of Community Services Cc: Jeff Kendall, Building Commissioner, DOCS Gayle Stahl Connie Tingley ONE CIVIC SQUARE CITY OF CARMEL DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES Division of Planning Zoning LETTER of GRANT Dear Mr. Payne, At the meeting held Monday, June 23, 2003, the Carmel/Clay Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action regarding the Special Use Amendment filed by you on behalf of Carmel/Clay Schools Forest Dale Elementary, located at 10721 Lakeshore Drive: APPROVED: Docket No. SUA- 49 -03, a Special Use Amendment petition of Section 6.02 in order to establish three (3) modular classrooms. The Board voted three (3) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby approving the petition. Please be advised that even though Section 21.02.07states the following: "Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance, the aforementioned Special Use approval is valid for one (1) year. By that time, either continuous construction of improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one -time, six -month extension of the approval must have been received and approval granted by this Department, the Carmel/Clay Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals has permitted a two -year time period. The expiration date of these approvals is Wednesday, June 23, 2005. In order to assist the Department's review, please attach a copy of this letter when making application for permits regarding the improvements contained within this approval.
