Dear Mr. Pierle,
At the meeting held Monday, June 23, 2003, the Carmel/Clay Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the following
action regarding the Development Standards Variance filed by you on behalf of Jimmy N. Yee for property located at
9920 Redbud Lane:
APPROVED: Docket No. V- 67 -03, a Development Standards Variance petition of Section 26.02.19 -D in order to
establish a covered porch past platted 50 -ft BTL. The Board voted three (3) in favor, zero (0) opposed, thereby
approving the petition.
Please be advised that per Section 30.05.05: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variances approval is valid for one (1) year. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one -time, six-month extension of the approval must have
been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is Wednesday,
June 23, 2004.
When applying for applications for permits regarding the improvements contained within this approval,
please include a copy of this letter with your application materials in order to assist the Department's review.
