The properties are outlined in yellow and orange on the attached file. At one time, the entire parcel was owned by Ritter's Custard. They closed the custard stand and property was foreclosed. I originally thought Heartland Bank now owned the parcel. There is some pretty wild zoning going on here. The property is in a flood plain and is zoned to allow for parcels that are land locked. Anyway, we thought the entire area was now owned by Heartland Bank, but the parcel map shows "999" parcel ID. In the "Legal Description" is says "7/24/08 ROW split to City of Carmel affecting the 999 parcel(CA) for 2009 pay 2010 2008-38439" Property in question: 16-09-24-00-02-999.999 (north) — outlined in yellow 16-09-24-00-02-999.999 (south) — outlined in orange "Islands" in property: 16-09-24-00-02-001.000 Heartland Community Bank 930A Rangeline Rd N 16-09-24-00-02-002.000 Heartland Community Bank 930B Rangeline Rd N We are just trying to figure out if Heartland bank owns the property or if the City of Carmel does. I believe there are some complaints about the weeds and trash on the property, and we are trying to figure out who is responsible. Could you shed some light on this?
