As a result, the townhomes which are considered new construction in the Character Subarea do not require. a variance from the garage set back requirement set forth in the Character Subarea. Consequently, as per your recommendation, we are hereby withdrawing the above referenced variance request. Notice to the surrounding property owners has gone out which notice omits reference to the above referenced variance. As I indicated to you in our earlier conversation, the notice to the paper did contain a reference to the above- referenced variance, and that notice has already been published. However, as you_instructed, inclusion of the above referenced variance in the notice published in the Indianapolis Star should not be a problem.
