I have enclosed the public notice documentation required for our September 22, 2003
public hearing before the Board of Zoning Appeals for Lauth Property Group. Included are the
Petitioner's Affidavit of Public Hearing, the certified list of adjacent property owners from the
Hamilton County Auditor's Office, the Public Notice, Proof of Publication from The
Indianapolis Star, and the white receipts and green cards from the certified mail delivery.

I have received your letter dated August 15, 2003 regarding your review of the
Developmental Standards Variance application filed for the Clay Terrace Signage. I offer the
following responses:
1. We have produced location maps for the monument signs. Please find enclosed
4 copies of the drawings.
2. The relevant sections of Ordinance Z- 386 -02 have been highlighted for each
application. Please find enclosed 4 copies of the highlighted ordinance.
3. Two copies of Exhibit `B' from Ordinance Z- 386 -02 are enclosed for your
review.
4. Two copies of a location map are enclosed.
5. Two copies of the list of adjacent property owners certified by the Hamilton
County Auditor's Office are enclosed.
6. Four copies of the original site plan are enclosed.
7. We have developed a plan that illustrates the frontages where signs will be
permitted. Please find enclosed four copies of the plan.

RE: Clay Terrace Signage- Development Standards Variances
Dear Mr. Reis:
This letter is in response to the Development Standards Variance applications for the Clay
Terrace Signage. The following issues must be resolved.
1. Please provide better location maps (mark location) for the monument sign petitions.
2. Provide relevant pages and highlight text from Ordinance Z- 386 -02 for each petition.
3. Provide a copy of Exhibit B for each related petition, so that current and proposed may be
compared.
4. Please provide a location map (2 copies0 that show land uses and zoning of adjacent
properties.
5. Please provide (2 copies) the list of adjacent property owners certified by the Hamilton
County Auditor's Office.
6. Please provide 4 copies of the original signage plan site plan.
7. Provide a plan illustrating frontages (on buildings) where signs will be permitted per the
PUD, as requested by Jon Dobosiewicz.
Please submit revisions with above mentioned changes. If you have any questions, please call
me.
