Dear Chasney:
As a compromise, since you have the 5 spruce already ordered, go ahead
and
plant all five spruces (3 to replace the rest of the austrians, and plus
the
other two spruces) and well call it even.

Scott,
Thank you very much for your e -mail, I have forwarded the information to
The
Brickman Group.
I do have a question in regard to item number #4 listed below which
states
to plant 2 additional spruce trees and 5 ornamental trees to replace the
7
hawthorne trees spec'd on the original plan. Per the original plan,
Wolfon
Young's landscape designer had the existing (7) white pines being
removed
and the hawthorne trees were to mainly take their place. Since we are
keeping the existing 7 white pines wouldn't that be in the place of
planting
an additional 7 new trees. I have included pictures of the existing 7
white
pines for your review. Thank you.

Sarah:
Update on the Amerivest Building Keystone Office Park building 5. I
met
with Chasney Suskovich today, Project Manager, to discuss what needed
to
be
done in order approve the C.O. for this building. I gave her
additional
information on the Emerald Ash Borer, invasive species, and approved
species
in Carmel. Apparently additional revisions were made after the Plan
Commission approvals were made, and those revisions were not sent back
through the DOCS approval process. My requirements are as follows:
1. Plant 2 additional sugar maple trees.
2. Replace the 4 ornamental pears (Cleveland Select) with 4 shade
trees
originally specified.
3. Plant 3 additional spruce trees (so that all 5 Austrian pines are
replaced).
4. Plant 2 additional spruce trees and 5 ornamental trees to replace
the 7 hawthorn trees on the plan.
5. Preserve the existing plant material (including white pines) on
site.
6. Submit as -built (as- planted) landscape plans showing all current
and
proposed landscaping to DOCS (me).
They should have this accomplished by October 15th, but if they need
an
extension to November 15th, 2003, that is acceptable to me.
