LETTER of GRANT
Dear Ms. Long and Ms. Mowery:
At the meeting held Monday, December 22, 2003, the Carmel/Clay Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals took the
following action regarding the Developmental Standards Variance (V) and Use Variance (UV) filed by you for the
property located at 110 3rd Avenue NE.
APPROVED: Docket No. V- 111 -03 Developmental Standards Variance. The Board voted four (4) in favor, zero (0)
opposed, thereby approving the petition.
APPROVED with condition: Docket No. UV- 112 -03 Use Variance. The Board voted four (4) in favor, zero (0)
opposed, thereby approving the petition, subject to no new exterior modifications, except for a sign.
Please be advised that per Section 30.05.05: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variances approval is valid for one (1) year. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one -time, six -month extension of the approval must have
been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is December 22, 2004.
When applying for applications for permits regarding the improvements contained within this approval,
please include a copy of this letter with your application materials in order to assist the Department's review.
