The City of Carmel is purchasing right -of -way from the owner which will result in a front yard that is 15 feet, which is less than allowed by the zoning ordinance. The City is therefore requesting a variance from Section 5.04.03A of the Zoning Ordinance which requires a minimum front yard of 40 feet.
