Dear Dale;
Thanks for speaking with me on the phone today. My additional comments before the meeting with the Plan Commission
and Angie Conn, besides the 5 Colorado spruces planned for around the building, would be to replace the dying white
pine in the front row north of the building and add 10 shrubs in the areas you can plant in. Besides the juniper species
that Daren had suggested, I would say that native deciduous shrubs and evergreen varieties would be appropriate such
as Blackhaw viburnum, nannyberry, arborvitae, common baldcypress, sumac, silky. gray, or Pagoda dogwood. Thanks,

Petitioner, please note the following:
1. This item will be not be on an agenda of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). However, the petitioner must

time, this application will be continued to the February 2, 2010 meeting.
5. This Item will appear on the January 5, 2010 agenda of the Plan Commission Special Studies Committee at 6:00
pm in the Caucus Room, Second Floor, City Hall. Please have a representative attend.
6. Info packets must contain a site plan, building elevations, brief description of changes, and details on the
proposed changes.
7. Please show /label all property lines and easements on the site plan.
8. Please provide a landscape plan that shows landscaping around the building addition. Please work with the
Forestry Dept as to what plantings /buffering are required.
9. The rear building setback should be 15 -ft from the rear property line. Otherwise a variance approval is required
from the Board of Zoning Appeals.
