BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS OF THE CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA DOGS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hearing Officer for the Board of Zoning
Appeals of the City of Carmel, Indiana (the "BZA will conduct a meeting on the 22 day of
February, 2010, at 5:30 o'clock p.m., in the 2n Floor Caucus Room, City Hall, One Civic
Square, Carmel, Indiana 46032, to hold a Public Hearing regarding a request for a variance as it
pertains to (3) model homes and associated parking that are located on the following described
parcels of real estate:
Lots Numbered 16, 17, 18, and 19 in Longridge Estates, Section One, a subdivision in
Clay Township, Hamilton County, Indiana, as per plat thereof recorded as Instrument Number
200500063316; amended by Surveyor Correction recorded as Instrument Number
200600034033, in the Office of the Recorder of Hamilton County, Indiana.
The four (4) lots described above are commonly known as 13714, 13728, 13742 and
13756 Monique Drive, Carmel, Indiana 46032 (collectively, the "Real Estate and model
homes parking area currently exists on the four (4) lots described above (collectively, the "Model
Home Use
The variance request pertains to Section 25.16.02 of the Zoning Ordinance and it seeks
permission to continue utilizing the Model Homes beyond the thirty -six (36) month permitted
time period (the "Variance
The Real Estate that the Model Home Use is located upon is zoned S -1 Residential and
the Model Home Use is generally located west of Shelborne Road and adjacent to and south of
Long Ridge Boulevard, in the Longridge Estates Subdivision, in the City of Carmel, Hamilton
County, State of Indiana.
Copies of the requests and accompanying plans are on file for examination at the
Department of Community Services, One Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032, telephone 317/571-
2417.
All interested persons desiring to present their views on the above proposed Variance,
either in writing or verbally, will be given an opportunity to be heard at the above mentioned
time and place.
Written objections to the Variance that are filed with the Department of Community
Services prior to the Public Hearing will be considered, and oral comments concerning the
proposed Variance will be heard at the Public Hearing.
The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
