To: Carmel /Clay Board on Zoning Appeals:
Our property is on the south side of the Ahluwalia property.
We did not protest the zoning change which permitted the owners to build structures for
horses on their acreage because we felt that we live in an area where others have done the
same. However, upon calling Mrs. Ahluwalia and hearing that the 80x200 foot building
was designed to be 26 feet high and that the other structure is 28 high, I have some
concerns. That would be the height of a three story building!
I am asking the committee to consider if this height seems appropriate with the other structures in the
surrounding area. Thank you for your guidance in this concern.

The Morrow's at 1010 W. 131 St. are concerned about Docket No. 10010010 V 13403 Ditch Rd. The size
of these barn's are huge 80ft x 200ft and 72ft x 72ft) and are to be built against our property line. We do
want, something like this, built up against our property line. We feel it will have an affect on our property
value in years to come. This is a commercial operation. The smell from the manure may become a problem
with the west to east prevailing winds. You are welcome to come and walk our property to look over our
concerns. Please let us know how you vote on this matter!!!!

Notice is hereby given that the Carmel/Clay Board of Zoning Appeals will be meeting on the 22"
day of February, 2010 at 5:30pm. The meeting will be in City Hall Council Chambers, One Civic
Square, Carmel Indiana 46032 regarding, the proposed issuance of a St Variance application
to approve an accessory structure building height over 18 feet. The property at 13403 Ditch Rd,
Carmel IN 46032, is owned by Sandeep and Leslie Ahluwalia. The Docket No. 10010010 V
