All signs must consist of internally ii-laminated, individual
letter components constructed and inst'aa as

Tenant signs must be Eurostile Bold type in upper and lower
case. The letter faces are to be .118" thickness {7328
white acrylic. Logos may be used without of the
face color(s). Logo construction, lighting and installation
must be consistent with the letter components. Tenants with
25,000 square feet or larger of leased space are not limited
to the designated type style. Layouts must be submitted to
the Landlord for approval prior to sign construction.
Drawings must include copy, size, colors, placement and a
cross section detailing the installation. Upon approval, a
permit application must be filed with the Carmel/Clay
Township Department of Community Development. A copy of the
approved permit must be returned to the Landlord prior to
sign installation.
CONSTRUCTION Letter and logo components are to be constructed with 5"
deep aluminum channels with a duronodic dark bronze baked
enamel finish. The faces are to be attached with 1" deep,
duronodic dark bronze extruded plastic trim cap chemically
adhered to the edges of the faces and mechanically fastened
to the returns, with stainless steel screw heads painted
dark bronze.
LIGHTING
Illumination is to be by 15 mm, 8300 white neon tubing
mounted within the channels. The following chart is to be

Township Sign Ordinance Number Z -302. A copy of Sign Chart

No part of a sign can be closed than 1' -0" to each end of
the tenant's frontage. Signs must be centered vertically on
the tenant's space. The horizontal center of the sign must
be installed on the horizontal centerline of the sign band
as determined by the Landlord, and must be illustrated on
the sign drawing submitted for approval.
INSTALLATION All components are to be installed on the sign band
projected .250" off the background with stainless steel
spacers and anchored to the background surface. Neon
connections to the secondary wiring are to be made in P -K
housings. All secondary wiring is to be installed on the
backside of the wall enclosed in grounded metallic flexible
conduit. 120 volt transformers are to be installed in
vented metal boxes on the backside of the wall. Primary
wiring to the sign, including a time clock, is the
responsibility of the tenant. The tenant is to maintain a
consistent on /off schedule as specified by the Landlord.
All signs are to be fabricated and installed based on U.L.
specifications and are to bear the U.L. label.
Upon lease termination, the tenant is responsible for the
removal of the sign and the repair to the wall from the
installation and use of the sign.
