Carmel, IN 46033 Re: Zoning Code Violation Dear Sir / Madam: This letter is being provided to inform you that this Department has received a complaint regarding a covered vehicle in the lawn area of your back yard. The investigation at 3040 Maqua Ct, a property listed under your ownership, did reveal this complaint to be valid. Parking a vehicle(s) in required greenbelt areas is prohibited as per Carmel Zoning Ordinance, which states: 27.02.04 Parking spaces maybe located on any part of a lot, unless otherwise specified herein. Parking spaces shall not be located in any required greenbelt or lawn area. Also, I wanted you to be aware of the City of Carmel ordinance requiring all vehicles to either carry current license plates (and be mechanically operable), or to be garaged. 6-106 (b) A Junk Car shall mean any motor vehicle which does not bear a currently valid license plate, and is not kept in a garage or building. To avoid further enforcement action, please discontinue parking vehicles on unpaved surfaces/greenbek areas of the property by January 29, 2010. Failure to do so will result in further enforcement action to include the issuance of daily citations for as long as the violation(s) persist, and a mandatory appearance in Carmel City Court.
