We have updated and redesigned the core Traffic Skills materials and added new components such as group riding and a commuter curriculum. We published the League Guide to Safe and Enjoyable Cycling (look for an update in 20 10) and we have partnered with the National Bicycle Dealers Association. the National Multiple Sclerosis Society the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure. and other organizations to expand the reach of our program. We are certifiying an average of 300 new League Cycling Instructors each year. Our cur and new instructors, in turn, reach tens of thousands of cyclists annually with critical safety skills and riding techniques. Yet much more remains to be done. Your membership will help us increase the reach of our basic Smart Cycling programs and messages: our goal is to reach hundreds of thousands of cyclists and motorists annually. Cyclists are still not treated equitably on our streets and highways let alone welcomed with open arms as we should be!
