Below are comments for this project specifically addressing the area of landscaping. I have reviewed the
drawings and present the following comments:
URBAN FORESTRY REVIEW COMMENTS
1) I do not see any planting details for this landscape plan. I have attached the City of Carmel's
standard plant material planting details for your use. Planting details will need to be shown on the
landscape plan.
Please illustrate how these comments will be addressed by letter or revised plan. If you have any questions,

HCSO has no concerns with the patio, since it is not within the easement of the W.R. Fertig Regulated Drain that is

Please find enclosed an ADLS Amend submittal to add a 2,208 SF concrete paver patio and landscaping on the south side
of the building located at 501 Congressional Boulevard. Please review the proposal and provide comments to me and
cc: aconnPcarmel.in.gov.
There is a drainage easement in the vicinity of the southeast corner of the patio, but the proposed improvements will
not encroach in the easement area.

Re: 501 Congressional Building F Patio
Dear Ms. Conn,
Please find enclosed information regarding a landscaped patio area that D 0 Capital
would like to add on the south side of their building, located at 501 Congressional
Boulevard. The project is located near the intersection of Congressional Boulevard and E.
117 Street (approximately southwest corner). Please refer to the enclosed vicinity map for
additional location information.
The 2,200± SF patio will be comprised of concrete pavers, a sitting wall, built in grill, fire pit
and landscaping. The landscaping will consist of various types of shrubs and trees. Please
refer to the attached Patio Layout and Landscape Plan for additional information.
Please contact me at your earliest opportunity to discuss comments or to grant approval of
the project.
