The Carmel S fulfill the mandates contained in this Page I ne of Two Pages ORDINANCE D- 1989 -10 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARMEL INDIA► A AMENDING CARMEL CITY CODE SECTION 8 -120 AND ITS WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, has the authority, Code Section 8 -30 and Indiana Code Sections 9 21 1 3(a)(7) and 9- 21 -4 -11, to establish a intersections within the City's corporate Limits; and WHEREAS, upon and pursuant to an engineering and traffic investigation, the Common Council now finds that public safety and welfare are best served by removing certain s dip intersections currently established and identified in "Schedule A" to City Code Section 8 -120. 0 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Coti�oh ►ouncil of the City of Carmel, yibound thbou d Section 1. All prior ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with any provision of this Ordinance are hereby repealed, to the tent of such inconsistency only, as of the effective date of this Ordinance. However, the repeal or amendment by this Ordinance of any other ordinance does not affect any rights or liabilities accrued, pe alties incurred or proceedings begun prior to the effective date of this Ordinance. Those rights, liabil es and proceedings are continued and penalties shall be imposed and enforced under such repealed or tended ordinance as if this Ordinance had not been adopted. Secti. 6.
