4. Docket No. 10040013 ADLS Amend: Savvy Decor Signage
The applicant seeks approval for a two new signs. The site is located at 41 S. Range Line Rd. and is zoned
C -2 within the Old Town Main Street Sub -area Overlay. Filed by Linda Mordoh of Savvy Decor.
The Petitioner requests approval for a new sign to replace an existing sign. The new sign will be of a post and arm
construction the approved design for Old Town. It will have two 12 sq. ft. panels hanging from each arm of the
sign. This is permissible because the tenant is located at a corner /street intersection and is allowed two signs. The
proposed design is most preferred by Staff for a business seeking more than one ground sign in Old Town. The size
and height (6') meets the Sign Ordinance requirements. The sign will be externally illuminated from an existing
light already installed in the ground. Seasonal plants and flowers will be planted at the sign base after it is installed.

After all questions and concerns are addressed, the Dept of Community Services (DOCS) recommends that
the Committee approves this item.

5. Docket No. 10040005 ADLS Amend: Carmel Science Tech Park, blk 17, lot 2
Advantage Medical. The applicant seeks approval for a 1,680 square foot building addition. The site is
located at 12415 Old Meridian Street, and is zoned OM -0/01d Meridian District, Office Subarea. Filed by
Adam Dehart of Keeler -Webb Associates.
The applicant seeks approval for a 1,680 square foot building addition to be added to the rear of the existing
building, built in the late 1990's. The building addition's design, materials, and colors will match the existing
building. Existing, affected landscaping will be relocated on -site. Please refer to the petitioner's informational
packet for more detail.
Outstanding Staff comments for the Petitioner:
1. The Forestry Dept. has reviewed this project for landscaping and does not have any issues.
2. The Engineering Dept. has no major concerns, since impervious surfaces are not increasing on the site asphalt
is being replaced with rooftop.
3. The Hamilton County Surveyor's Office reviewed the plans and has no concerns.
After all questions and concerns are addressed, the Dept of Community Services (DOCS) recommends that
the Committee approves this item.
