This Item will appear on the June 1, 2010 agenda of the Plan Commission Special Studies Committee at 6:00 pm in the Caucus Room, Second Floor, City Hall. Please have a representative attend. Review Comments: 1. Elevation A: 1. Please specify if the white filler panel will be backlit. We would prefer there is no illumination behind the panel. 2. Please specify if the new entire gray and maroon panel will be backlit or if only the letters will push through illumination. 3. Also will there be a red LED lighting strip between the two colors? If so, please remove this lighting feature. 2. Elevation B: 1. Again, please specify if white filler panels will be illuminated. If so, please remove illumination. 2. We would prefer to see the 4' filler panel like on Elevation A instead of the 2' panel. We believe this would give the roof /cap element a more cohesive look. Please let us know if this can be done and if not, the reasons. 3. Elevation C: 1. How is this main wall sign to be illuminated? It does not match the panel from Elevation B which makes me question its functionality. 2. Again, we would prefer to see the 4' filler panel rather than the 2' panel especially if a 4' tall wall sign is proposed on this elevation. 3. The alternate photo on the right does not match the alternate photo from Elevation D. Which is really proposed? 4/30/2010 Page 2 of 2 4. Elevation D: 1. Again, the alternate photo shows a maroon and red filler panel on Elevation C. Is it really white filler like on the Elevation C page? 2. Also we would prefer the 4' filler panel. Ms. Gates can be reached at 317 842 -8664.
