We were going to use the existing walls, but due to storm damage of late, and the fact the original installer did not install proper footings the current foundation sits above the freeze line and has heaved in several places making the current foundation unusable for a renovation), we had to pull down the walls. For safety and longevity /aesthetics, we felt it best to tear out the old foundation, and erect a new 'old looking' garage which will serve the community better, as the house and garage will compliment each other. I provided rough sketches of a couple of elevations, as well as a couple of pictures of the home, for which you granted a SDR back in 2008. The pictures were provided to show the quality of materials and workmanship that will also be used on the garage. We intend to use the same color scheme as the house.
