AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA AUTHORIZING THE
ISSUANCE OF BONDS PURSUANT TO IC 36- 7- 14 -3.5
(96 Street -U.S. 421 Economic Development Area)
SPONSOR: Councilor Snyder
WHEREAS, the Hamilton County Redevelopment Commission "Commission did on
the 25 day of February, 2000, adopt a Declaratory Resolution establishing the 96 Street -U.S.
421 Economic Development Area "Area and
WHEREAS, the City of Cannel, Indiana "City has annexed or will have annexed all
of the real estate within the Area "Annexation effective July 27, 2010; and
WHEREAS, Hamilton County "the County the Commission, acting on behalf of the
County; and the City, pursuant to an Interlocal Agreement dated as of May 24, 2010, have
authorized the issuance of the Commission's Redevelopment District Tax Increment Revenue
Bonds of 2010 in the aggregate principal amount of Twelve Million One Hundred Sixty
Thousand Dollars ($12,160,000) "the 2010 Bonds and
WHEREAS, the 2010 Bonds are to be paid with tax increment collected from the Area
after the effective date of the annexation; and,
WHEREAS, IC 36- 7- 14 -3.5 requires the approval of the issuance of bonds or notes
payable from Tax Increment collected from the Area by the Common. Council of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARMEL, INDIANA, THAT:
Section 1. The Common Council hereby approves the issuance of the 2010 and 2011
Bonds by the Commission, as well as any Bond Anticipation Notes issued in anticipation of said
Bonds.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
PASSED by the Common Council of the City of Carmel, Indiana, this Q10( 1 5 day of June,
2010, by a vote of CQ ayes and 0 nays.

NOTICE OF THE
HAMILTON COUNTY REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
Hamilton County Auditor, Hamilton. County Council and Carmel City Council:
Re: U.S. 31 Ramps East, U.S. 31 Ramps West, Thomson Consumer
Electronics, 96 -421 Collection of 2011 Tax Increment.
In accordance with requirements of IC 36- 7- 14- 39(b)(3), the Hamilton County
Redevelopment Commission "the Commission is providing notice that it has
determined that all of assessed value from the above Economic Development
Areas will be necessary for the Commission to make debt payments, lease
payments, or to fund projects approved by the Commission as authorized by IC
36- 7- 14- 39(b)(2).
