Surette 12115 Windsor Dr. Carmel, IN 46033 Re: Zoning Violation — Storage of Recreational Vehicle Dear Mr. & Mrs. Surette: This letter is being provided to inform you that an inquiry has been made to our department regarding a Recreational Vehicle located at 12115 Windsor Dr., a property listed under your ownership. An inspection revealed that the property is in violation of the Carmel/Clay Land Use Regulations, specifically § 25.04.01 Recreational Vehicles, which states: Recreational vehicles may not be stored any closer to a lot line than three (3) times the maximum height of the recreational vehicle, except when completely enclosed. Non - motorized recreational vehicles may not be stored on a public right-of-way at any time. Motorized recreational vehicles may be stored on a public right -of way for a period not to exceed ten (10) days per month. This violation may be corrected simply by moving the trailer closer to the garage to meet the Ordinance requirements. If this does not meet the minimum requirements of the Ordinance, please either garage or remove the recreational vehicle from the premises. In order to avoid further enforcement action, to include the issuance of daily citations as long as the violation persists (and mandatory appearance in Carmel City Court), please have the violation corrected by May 25, 2010.
