1. PRIOR TO MAJOR EARTHWORK
A. INSTALLATION OF SILT FENCES AS CALLED FOR.
B. CONSTRUCTION OF TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCES.
C. INSTALL RIPRAP AT STORM SYSTEM OUTFACE INTO LITTLE COOL CREEK
D. ESTABLASH AND. STABILIZE SWALES
2. DURING INITIAL GRADING
A. INSTALL ALL EROSION CONTROL NETTING AS CALLED FOR IMMEDIATELY
FOLLOWING GRADING OF EACH AREA.
B. INSTALL SILT FENCE AROUND ALL DRAINAGE STRUCTURES AS THEY ARE INSTALLED
TO LIMIT SILT DEPOSITS IN STORM SYSTEM AND DOWN STREAM.
C. FINE GRADE, SEEC, INST,��LL EROSION CONTROL NETTING, AND MULCH IN ALL SWALE
AREAS AS NOTED.
D. FINE GRADE, SEED, TOPa01 &SUBSOIL STOCKPILE AREAS AS NOTED ON PLANS
AS SOON AS GRADING OPERATIONS PERMIT.
MAINTAINANCE PROGRAM &BASIC PRINCIPLES
FILTER FENCE, *INSPECT THE S;iLT FENCE PERIODICALLY AND AFTER EACH STORM EVENT.
*IF FENCE FABRiC TEARS, STARTS TG DECOMPOSE, OR IN ANYWAY BECOMES INEFFECTIVE,
REPLACE THE A��FECTED PORTION IMMEDIATELY.
*REMOVE DEPOSITED SEDIMENT WHEN IT REACHES HALF THE HEIGHT OF THE FENCE AT ITS
LOWEST POINT OR IS CAUSING THE FABRIC TO BULGE.
*TAKE CARE TO AVOID UNDERMINING THE FENCE DURING CLEAN OUT.
*AFTER THE CONTRIBUTING DRAINAGE AREA HAS BEEN STABILIZED, REMOVE THE FENCE AND
SEDIMENT DEPOS[rS, BRING THE DISTURBED AREA TO GRADE, AND STABILIZE,
FABRIC INLET *INSPECT FABRIC BARRIER AFTER STORM EVENTS, ANO MAKE NEEDED REPAIRS IMMEDIATELY.

C. COLD WEATHER SEASON (DECEMBER, JANUARY, FEBRUARY) 15 DAYS
PRIOR TO BEGINNING ANY EARTH CHANGE ACTNITY_
TEMPORARY FACILITIES
AFTER THE PROJECT WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED, INSPECTED AND APPROVED, THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL SEDIMENTATION CONTROL DEVICES, MATERIAL AND THEIR
COLLECTED SILT AND DEBRIS AND COMPLETE THE PROJECT WORK IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
WITHIN 15 DAYS FR0�1 THE DATE A PROJECT IMPROVMENT IS INSTALLED THE CONTRACTOR
SHALL PROCEED WITH FINAL CLEANUP AND RESTORATION OF THE PROJECT AREA DISTURBED
INCLUDING SPILL AREAS, AND COMPLETE SUCH OPERATIONS WITHIN THE NEXT 15 DAYS.
IF SEASONAL CONDITIONS PREVENT FINAL CLEANING AND RESTORATION, THE CONTRACTOR
SHALL PROCEED WITH TEMPORARY STABILIZATION OF THE DISTURBED AREAS_ FINAL
CLEANUP AND RESTORATION WILL CONSIST OF F1NAL GRADING, TOPSOILING, SEEDING AND
MULCHING AND /OR SODDING OF ALL DISTURBED AREAS OF THE PROJECT. TEMPORARY
STABILIZATION SHALL CONSIST OF ROUGH GRADING THE DISTURBED AREAS TO A CONDITION
READY TO RECEIVE TOPSOIL, SEEDING, AND MULCHING IN ACCORDANCE WITH
SPEC. SECTION 02100 FnR THE PROJECT. TEMPORARY STABILIZATION
MATERIALS SHALL BE REMOVED ANO DISPOSED OF AND FINAL CLEANUP AND
RESTORATION SHALL BE COMPLETED NOT LATER THAN 60 DAYS AFTER SEASONAL
CONDITIONS ALLOW PERI=ORMANCE OF THE REQUIRED WORK.
