SITE DEMOLITION NOTES:
1. REMOVAL Of EXISTING ASPHALT PAVEMENT INDICATED ON PLANS SHALL INCLUDE
ALL AGGREGATE BASE MATERIAL AREAS TO BE REMOVED SHALL BE SAW CUT
CLEAN, NEAT AND TRUE TO UNE.
2. REMOVE ALL NON ORGANIC MATTER THAT WOULD INTERFERE WITH PROPOSED
PLANT MATERIAL REPLACE ALL EXCAVATED AREAS TO BE PLANTED WITH A
MINIMUM OF 6' OF APPROVED TOPSOIL.
3. ALL MATERIAL EXCEPT THAT BELONGING TO A PUBUC OR PRIVATE UTILITY
COMPANY SHALL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE CONTRACTOR. THE
CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE OWNERS OF WATER, ELECTRIC, OR GAS METERS
WHEN THE METERS ARE READY FOR REMOVAL, AND SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE
FOR DISCONNECTING ALL UTILITIES IN COMPUmCE WITH LOCAL REQUIREMENTS.
4. AS SOON AS DEMOLITION WORK HAS BEEN OTHERWISE COMPLETED AND
APPROVED BY THE OWNER OR AUTHORIZED REPRESENTANE, FILLING SHALL BE
PERFORMED AS REQUIRED. ALL F1WNG SHALL BE IN 6' LIFTS COMPACTED TO
MEET SPECIFICATIONS. FINAL GRADE OF BACKFI'.L IN AREAS OUTSIDE THE
PRISM OF CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE SUCH AS TO PRESENT A NEAT, WELL
DRAINED APPEARANCE, AND TO PREVENT WATER FROM DRAINING UNNECESSARILY
ONTO ADJACENT PROPERTIES.
5. THE EXISTING UTILITY LOCATIONS ARE APPROXAAATE AND BASED ON THE BEST
AVAILABLE INFORMATION. THE CONTRACTOR IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR
VERIFYING THESE LOCATIONS AND ANY DAMAGE WHICH IS DONE 10 SAID
UTILITIES.
6. ALL EXISTING UTILITIES WITHIN THE BUILDING PAD AREA ME TO BE REMOVED.
THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE GOVERNING AGENCIES AND UTILITY
COMPANIES AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THIS ACTIVITY.
7. CONTRACTOR 15 RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL DEMOLITION PERMITS.
8. IT 1S THE RESPONSIBILm! OF THE CONTRACTOR TO STUDY THE PLANS AND
VISIT THE SITE TO DETERMINE THE ITEMS THAT MUST BE REMOVED TO COMPLY
WITH THE SITE DEVELOPMENT PLANS. NO EXTRA FEE WILL BE PND FOR THE
REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY REM NOT LISTED THAT IS VISIBLE UPON A
SITE VISIT. THE DEMOLITION LEGEND MID NOTES ARE INTENDED TO SIMPLIFY
THE DRAWINGS, AND 00 NOT GUARANTEE THAT ALL ITEMS ME ADDRESSED.
9. REMOVE FROM SITE DEBRIS, RUBBISH, AND OTHER MATERIALS RESULTING FROM
DEMOLITION OPERATIONS.
10. NO BURNING OF ANY MATERIAL, DEBRIS, OR TRASH ONSITE WILL BE ALLOWED.
11. TRANSPORT MATERIALS REMOVED FROM DEMOLISHED STRUCTURES WITH
APPROPRIATE VEHICLES AND DISPOSE OFFSfTE TO AREAS WHICH ME APPROVED
FOR DISPOSAL BY GOVERNING AUTHORITIES AND APPROPRIATE PROPERTY
OWNERS.
