Dear Mr. Schutz:
Pursuant to Section 23D.04 of the Carmel Zoning Ordinance, the Department of Community Services has taken the
following administrative action regarding the request of Site Plan and Design Review (SDR) in Old Town for the
property located at 50 Fourth Street NE Peele House).
APPROVED, with Conditions. The Department approved the site plan and proposed exterior building
modifications, as submitted, with the new attached garage and landscaping. (Final Approval /Inspections for the
Peele House SDR is subject to submittal and approval of the Replat of Wilkinson's Addition, Lots 13 -15 to become
lots 1A -5A, within ninety (90) days from this date (Nov. 8 deadline), or, prior to issuance of Certificate of
Occupancy, whichever is first.)
This Approval is for Site Plan and Design Review only. Additional approvals remain to be obtained, such as Board of
Works approval for driveway and sidewalk installation.
In order to assist the Department's review, please attach a copy of this letter when making application for
permits regarding the improvements contained within this approval.
