Please accept this letter as a request for the above referenced project to be placed on the City of
Carmel Board of Public Works Agenda. Village Green was granted approval by the City of
Carmel Plan Commission on May 16, 2006 as Docket Numbers 05120026 Z and 05120027
DP /ALDS. At the Board of Public Works Meeting we will be requesting approval of the Final
Plat for Block H Village Green Section Two. Please contact me with any questions or
comments you may have.

Hello Jamie,
I was going through the permit applications this morning that were submitted yesterday afternoon for village green
section 2 lots 6 -1 and noticed some of the documents don't correspond with the applications. The following information
in red needs to be corrected and submitted before I can put the permits into review:
Site Plan Information
The applications had the lot numbers in the opposite order with the addresses, so I changed the lot numbers to reflect
the following:
Lot 6- 692 Greenford Trail
Lot 7- 686 Greenford Trail
Lot 9- 674 Greenford Trail
Lot 10- 668 Greenford Trail
I just want to make sure this is correct so our records will reflect the same.
Also the site plans have the right lot numbers in the notes but on the actual plot for the building they are labeled Tots 1 -5.
I need 12 new copies of the site plan showing the proper lots on the plan.
State Release
The state release that was submitted was for lots 16 -20 Greenford Trail. I need a copy of the state release for Lots 6 -10.
Manufactures Trusses
We also need one full set of stamped truss drawings with the calculations and engineers signature on them.
Once those items are corrected and submitted I will be able to get these applications into review. I also want to let you
know that we received 2 extra checks, one extra water check, and a check made out to Clay Township in the amount of
$1,750.00. I will have those out in the mail today back to you, I just wanted you to know where they were at since they
didn't belong to this project. If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call at 571 -2449.

No, Building Code Services (BCS) is not processing the applications —at this time. They are not complete.
Last fall, in order to submit applications for Village Green, we— Planning Zoning (P &Z), BCS, and Dress agreed to an
altered process, as cited by Jamie in his previous e -mail today. It is attached to this message. The following is what it
states:
The approval process that we decided on is as follows:
la. Apply for a replat with the planning and zoning office
1. Apply for and Obtain Building Permits
2. Build the Foundations
3. Perform New Surveys
4. Apply for and Obtain the Replat
5. Continue Construction.
Before Building Code Services (BCS) will do any Rough -in Inspections, though, the Replat must be
obtained.
As you can see, Drees needs to apply for a replat with P &Z before we will accept the building permit applications.
Please contact Angie Conn for this.
Also, in order to accept building permit application packets, they must be complete. This morning the packets did not
have the required State Construction Design Release /s (CDR) or the check/checks for the City of Carmel Sewer and
Water Utilities.
Once these three items are resolved, please submit the permit applications to Beth. Although I worked with townhomes
when this agreement was created and Beth did not, she is now the townhome permit coordinator and knows the usual
application process for townhomes and the special exception process for the Village Green townhomes.
