EPA Calculations allow for 1.3 Gust Factor Standard Specifications Pole Shaft Pole shaft is spun from seamless 6063 alloy alu- minum which is heat treated to a T6 temper. Anchor Base Anchor base is cast from 356 alloy aluminum which is heat treated to a T6 temper. The anchor base cast- ing and shaft are joined by a continuous circumferential weld at the outside top and inside bot- tom of the anchor base. Access Hole The opening measures 3 x 5" (76 x 127mm) with a cast 356 aluminum tem- pered to a T6 condition rein- forced frame. Frame is supplied with integral ground lug connec- tion located inside pole. Flush fitting cover is supplied with tam- per resistant fasteners. Anchor Bolts Pole is supplied with four steel hot dip galvanized anchor bolts, 314 x 17" for poles up to 20 feet, and 314 x 25" for 25 foot poles, each with two nuts, two flat washers and one lock washer. Nut Cover Poles come stan- dard with cast aluminum nut cov- ers. Finish SELUX utilizes a high quality Polyester Powder Coating. All SELUX luminaires and poles undergo a five stage intensive pretreatment process where product is thoroughly cleaned, phosphated and sealed. SELUX powder coated products provide excellent salt and humid- ity resistance as well as ultra vio- let resistance for color retention. All products are tested in accor- dance with test specifications for coatings from ASTM and PCI. Standard exterior colors are White (WH), Black (BK), Bronze (BZ), and Silver (SV). RAIL colors (SP) are available, please specify RAL All Poles are constructed per AASHTO standards for light poles. A consideration of field conditions such as (but not limit- ed to) wind zone, height, vibra- tion must be given by the design- er/specifier for the appropriate application. Performance of poles is dependent upon proper support/attachment of pole to adequate foundation design. SELUX does not design or offer recommendations for founda- tions.
