Based on the conversation that took place, we understood that the potential changes could most likely be reviewed by you administratively. We have completed the revisions that were discussed last November and this letter is included to summarize the plan changes. The building shifted 25 feet further north to allow for additional area for future building expansion. The shift in the building location caused the addition of asphalt in the previous building location. One last site plan change that will not be visible is the addition of a second underground fuel tank that will be used for unleaded fuel. Please review the attached plans and let us know if there is a need for any additional review process in your assessment. If there is any additional information that you require for this project, please do not hesitate to contact me at 842 -6777. I spoke with Jon Dobosiewicz, Planning Administrator for the City of Carmel and he said to send a letter stating what the changes are and drawings and he would attempt to review it Administratively without it going through any other process. Is the maximum full flow pipe velocity exceeded City standard is 10 fps maximum. Is it possible to reduce the velocity to 10 fps? If this is to be a private drainage system, you do not need to revise; however, it is unlikely that the City will assume responsibility for this system if ever considered to become a public system in the future. 21. We believe Carmel Water serves this school site. Please provide an estimate of water usage for this facility, with and without the future wash bay. 2. Additional Water Connection Fees may be assessed. Final determination will be by Carmel Utilities. 3. Board of Public Works and Safety approval of additional water availability may be required. I am enclosing a Board of Works meeting dates and agenda deadlines for your use. 4. On Sheet C201, is the bus parking area to be constructed with this project? What does the crosshatched area in the parking area represent, no parking striping? Why isn't the entire parking area curbed? 5. Storm drainage is under the jurisdiction of the Hamilton County Surveyor's Office. However, we would request a copy of the drainage calculations for this project. 6. Dimension eastern entrances. We typically see 30' maximum entrance widths, but this is private property. 7. Are you seeking approval of the areas denoted as "future" as a part of this approval? 8. Dimension southern drive aisle in car parking lot. 9. There are contours missing from the southwest corner of the bus lot. 10. Is a crown needed at the main entrances to separate street drainage from site drainage? Are interior inlets adequate to convey spillover from valley gutter in street? 11. This proposed project DOES NOT fall in a Carmel Watershed Protection Area. This project falls in the J.W. Brendle Regulated Drain Watershed. This watershed has an allowable release rate of 0.24 cfs per acre. Please submit drainage calculations that show the existing pond has adequate storage for this proposed facility and that the entire site still meets the allowable release rate. 5. Please submit an outlet permit for the discharge into the I.W. Brendle Regulated Drain.
