The droinageway which enters the retail site from the northwest corner shall be replaced by o new channel approximately 1,935 feet tong to be constructed along the west side of the parcel. The newly constructed channel shall have on overall bottom width of 10 feet, being sloped to provide a low flow channel 4 feet wide. The second drainagewoy which enters the site from the northeast corner shell be reploced by a new channel approximately 1,230 feet long. This second new channel shall be constructed along the east side of the proposed romps. The newly constructed chonnel shall hove o bottom width of 5 feet. It Is anticipated these drainogeways will carry water only following a local rain event as the upstream detention basins discharge into them. Substantially all of the adjoining site drainage from the proposed retail development will be discharged by other conveyances. The impact to the existing detention basin shall be mitigated by excavating at least on equal volume of water storage and surface area extending generally north from the bank of the remaining portion of the detention area east of the proposed ramps. The newly expanded detention basin shall be constructed with a shallow safety shelf around its perimeter before the slopes steepen to the depth of the basin. The newly constructed channels shall include a series of meandering curves to more nearly replicate o natural droinageway. The outer bonk in areas of the curves shall be protected by fiber erosion control mots os appropriate. Portions of the channel beds shall be covered with pit run gravel of various sizes to provide bottom structure. The new drainagewoys shall flow through a vegetated band consisting of trees of graduated size classifications including larger t(4' diameter) landscape quality balled and burlopped trees, smaller size (1 17 2 diameter) nursery run belled and burlapped trees, 3-5' toll container grown seedlings, bore root seedlings, shrubs, and herbaceous plants. All trees and shrubs shall be deciduous plant species. The larger landscape trees shall be planted on enerally 100' spacing. The smaller balled trees shall be planted on generally 50' spacing. Container crown seedlings shall be planted on 20' spacing. Bare root tree and shrub seedlings shall be planted on 10 spacing. All trees shall be selected from the following list of approved species. Trees and shrubs shall be planted in a random manner with regard to species composition. The following seed mixture shall be planted within the limits of the newly constructed channel: IMMO Varna TECHNICAL NAME Agrostis alba polustris Asclepius incarnate Bidens cernue Carex comes° Carex hystericina Carex vulpinoidea Eupotorium perfoliotum Leersio oryzoides Lobelia siphilitico Polygonum pensylvonicum Rumex oltissirnus Scirpus atrovirens Scirpus cyperinus Spartina pectinate Verbena hosts Vemonia fasciculata Aveno sotive Elymus conodensis Lolium multiflorum Phleum pretense DRAiN/MAY SITED MIX COMPUTATION COMMON NAME Manna Red top Swamp milkweed Nodding bur marigold Bristly sedge Bottlebrush sedge Fox sedge Common boneset Rice cut gross Great blue lobelia Pinkweed Pale dock Dark green rush Wool gross Prairie cordgrass Blue vervoin Common Ironweed DWG FILE: 0: \1999 \355 \IN1999.0355.7.DP EDIT DATE: 08/11/00 08:51:24 EDITED BY: JF 5150 The hardwood tree and shrub species to be planted shalt be selected fro following list.
