Fence Removal Notes
1. The location of the fence to be removed shall be in accordance with the attached
approved plans.
2. The removed fence and fence posts are to be pulled along with the foundation
and disposed of in an appropriate manner.
3. The postholes shall be filled to grade of existing ground after posts are removed.
All disturbed areas are to be restored to original or better condition. Any existing
landscape trees or shrubs the right of way shall not be damaged or removed,
All new plantings shall be placed on applicant's property.
4. Standard fence terminal and pull post end assembly shall be installed as specified
on this sheet and at the direction of the Greenfield District Office.
5. The right of way alignment does not change along fence removal area. Therefore
no monuments will be required.
6. The permittee will be directly responsible for their contractor and /or representatives.
Access to the work site shall be obtained from the Permittee's property an not from
through lanes or shoulders,
7. Limited Access Highway signs (R18 —I1) are to be installed at the direction of the
District Permit Inspector.
8. If at any time in the future the Indiana Department of Transportation determines
that reconstruction of the fences is necessary, the property owner or future property
owner(s) will do so at their expense and under the direction of the Greenfield District.
