A. A minimum of 4" of topsoil shall be placed on
all areas shown to be seeded. Use suitable
topsoil from stock—piled site stripping. Topsoil
shall be free from subsoil, vegetation, weeds or
any .extraneous or deleterious materials larger
than 1", remove any unsuitable and excess
topsoil, as determined by soils engineer, from
the site. Furnish any additional topsoil needed
at no additional cost.
B. In case of discrepancies between the plan
and the plant list, the plan shall dictate.
C. All trees and .shrubs shall have a 4' diameter
ring covered with a 2" to 3" thick layer of
shredded hardwood mulch. Mulch shall be
uniform in texture and color. No utility mulch
or processed tree trimmings will be allowed. All
planting beds shall have s pre—emergent
herbicide per manufacturer's specifications.
0. All plantings are to meet or exceed American
Standards for Nursery Stock, 1986 edition, as
set forth by American Association Nurserymen.
Also, plant species shall be as specified by the
local landscaping ordinance.
E. Plants and all other materials to be stored
on site will be placed where they will not
conflict with construction and as directed by
owner.
F. All new landscape plantings shall be guaranteed
for a period of two years following final
inspection by owner. At the end of this period,
plant material termed dead or unsatisfactory by
owner shall be replaced at no additional charge
by the landscape contractor.
G. All disturbed lawn areas shall be seeded.
H. All plantings beds shall have a spade edge.
I. Do not use fertilizer containing phosphorous
unless a soils test indicates a phosphorous
deficiency (ie. fertilizer should read
