o Excessive size and number of banners
o Due to cost, was told those banners would not be pursued
o Technically banners are not permitted
Department recommended positive consideration of Dockets Nos. 11010002V and 11010003 V.
The Department recommended positive consideration of Docket No. 11010004V for the
Palladium banners and Tarkington Blade banners, but negative consideration for all other
Tarkington banners
Discussion:
Location of excessive signage indicated
Signage needed to advertise /announce performances
None along Monon Trail proposed
Adequate site signage included in the sign package
Directional signage is different from performance (advertising) signage
Banners are often a piece of art
Could apply later for additional banners
