Parkway parking ratios Attachments: ZO Ch 27 Additional Parking Loading (Summer 2004 v1).rtf Hi, Jason in 2005, when this project was approved, the parking ordinance in effect was slightly different (see attached); the Office Building use had a requirement of 1 parking space for every 300 sq ft of floor area. With my calculations, that would mean that 1,067 parking spaces were required and that the project provided 1,166 parking spaces. They were /are in compliance. (Since the parking ordinance changed in 2006 to show that the new parking ratio is 1/250 sq ft for an office use, this just means that this project is grandfathered, or legally non conforming.) Today's version of the parking ordinance is online at: http: /www.ci.carmel.in.us/ services /DOCS /DOCSZOchptrs /ZO %2OCh% 2027% 2OAdditional %2OParking %2OLoadin /020( W inter %202011 %20v1). pdf Please let me know if you need anything else.
