Docket No. 11020001 ADLS Amend: Platinum Realty Group Signage The applicant seeks approval to install a new suspended sign. The site is located at 610 N. Range Line Rd. and is zoned B -5 /Business within the Old Town Character Sub -Area. Filed by Janet Jernigan of Platinum Realty Group. The applicant seeks approval to install a new suspended sign for their business. It will be a non illuminated, 5.33 sq. ft. sign. It will say "Platinum Realty Group The second sign shown will not have their name on it, as it will be reserved for another tenant. They are just showing that there is a duplicate of their sign as a placeholder. It will be 7 -ft tall and have a decorative black post and arm with the address near the top of the pole. The sign panel will be made from aluminum with a digitally printed vinyl application. The sign will be landscaped and placed at least 5 -ft back from the street right -of -way. Recommendation: After all comments /concerns are addressed, the Dept of Community Services (DOCS) recommends that the Committee votes to approve this item. Docket No. 11020002 ADLS Amend: Huntington Bank (US 421) Signage The applicant seeks approval to install two new wall signs and one new directional sign. The site is located at 10925 N. Michigan Rd. and is zoned B -2 /Business within the US 421 Overlay Zone. Filed by Don Miller of A Sign By Design on behalf of Huntington Bank. The applicant seeks approval to install two new wall signs, two new directional signs and a new ATM surround. The wall signs will each be 38.40 sq. ft. in size. The name will be white individual internally illuminated letters. The logo will be green. The new signs will replace the two existing wall signs on the west and south facades. The size meets the Sign Ordinance requirements. The two new directional signs will replace the two existing directional signs near the entrances to the site. They will each be 3 -ft tall and less than 3 sq. ft. of sign copy. These signs are non illuminated. The new ATM surround will be similar to the existing, but will have new the new Huntington logo and colors, along with the word "Welcome Both signs are less than 3 sq. ft., and are allowed. The Department asks that the Petitioner not change the color of any bollards on the site from yellow to green. Yellow is appropriate for safety and visual reasons, green would be considered an additional sign, adding to the corporate colors on the site. Please refer to your packet for more details. Recommendation: After all comments /concerns are addressed, the Dept of Community Services (DOCS) recommends that the Committee votes to approve this item. 4
