Please be advised that this property is in a R-2/Residence District, and may only be used for the following purposes: single-family dwelling, home occupation or residential kennel. For your information, enclosed is Section 25.18 of the Carmel/Clay Zoning Ordinance, which sets out standards for Home Occupations. • Any business activities that occur outside of these standards could be construed as a commercial use of the property. • In an effort to uniformly enforce ordinances of the City of Carmel and Clay Township, it is our policy to investigate all inquires. A representative from the department of Community Services made an evaluation of the alleged infraction and determined that a violation may exist. He did not think about his trailer causing a problem in the neighborhood and he will move it. AK also asked him to be consious of storing his plow blade in the drive for long period at a time.
