RE: Additional lights for CVS at Rangeline and Medical Drive
Thank you Craig. Let this email suffice as administrative approval for the light installation. A copy will be placed with the
project file and official record.
Please file for an ILP with Building and Code Enforcement, they will want to look at the electrical work and do a final
inspection.

Mike,
Sorry for the delayed response. The only difference between the EM17 and the EM25 is the size of the fixture. The
EM17 is a little smaller; both lights have a 175w lamp, and the photometric plan was based on the EM17 which we plan to
install.
Please let me know if we are ok to proceed.
Thanks

Mike,
Thanks for your response. Below please find a response from our architect for the questions you posed on Friday. With
regards to the style of the fixture, all existing lighting on the building are either the wall packs on the east side of the
building, which we did not feel was appropriate for the north and south sides, or canopy lighting. Therefore, we felt the
proposed fixture would blend with the architecture of the building the best.
Thanks for your help, and please let me know if we are ok to proceed.
Thanks.

Craig
1. The wall packs on the back of the building will not match the rest of the new fixtures- that is fine with me. They could
be changed out if necessary.
2. The lights will be installed by drilling through the wall and running the wire internally. There will be no exposed conduit.
3. The fixture does not have an LED option. The lamp will be the same as the existing rear wall pack fixtures.

Craig,
Sorry it has taken so long gettng back to you on this. We are in agreement of the need to light better the CVS exterior,
and wi'I not require additiona approvals. The light you are proposing is very nice looking. We do not have a problem
moving forward with it, but do have the following questions?
2
1. The light itself is not like the other lights with the project. Does that matter to you?
2. Can you give us a better idea of how the lights will be installed and powered? Will their be exterior conduit or is
there a way to access and power the Tight from the inside?
3. Is there an LED Tamp option that goes with that fixture?
Please get back with me on the above.
Thanks,
Mike H.

Mike,
I dropped of a submittal to your office last Thursday with our request to add some additional lighting to the new CVS we
constructed at Rangeline and Medical Drive. CVS has expressed some concerns with the low level of lighting near their
building on both the north and south sides of the building. Please let me know if you have had a chance to review our
request, and if we have your approval to install the additional lighting.
We appreciate your help.
Thanks.
