HomeMy WebLinkAboutDoug Bowen Bldg height letter June 2011CITY OF CARMEL JAMES BRAINARD, MAYOR Via Email: original to follow USPS June 3, 2011 Mr. Doug Bowen 10596 Jumper Lane Carmel, IN 46032 Re: Building Height Variance Lot 1, McCracken Bourdillon Estate; Docket No. 11030011 V: Dear Mr. Bowen: At their regular meeting held Monday, April 25, 2011, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals denied the above referenced Development Standards Variance for the height of your accessory building at 10596 Jumper Lane, Carmel. Your accessory building is currently in violation of the Carmel Zoning Ordinance height requirements and must be brought into compliance right away. Please respond by Monday, June 13, 2011 to this letter so that we may know your plans to remedy the violation. The Department will be withdrawing the previously granted certificate of occupancy for this structure, and allow a total of 60 days from receipt of your response to complete the building remodel. Prior to commencement of construction needed adjust the building height, the Department will re -open the previous permit for this structure (no. 10020016) upon the receipt of updated building plans, without additional permit review fees.
