HomeMy WebLinkAboutLandscape Compliance 6-14-11Tingley, Connie S From: Conn, Angelina V Sent: Tuesday, June 14, 2011 3:40 PM To: 'Jeremy Stephenson' Subject: 701 Congressional C of 0 landscape plan compliance Hi Jeremy in response to your VM message, I just spoke with the City Forster, and it seems that a compromise could be that the City issues a temporary C of 0 and gives you until November 1, 2011 to replace all of the missing or dead landscaping so that you could plant in the fall and so there is adequate time to bring the site back into compliance. Please understand our side, from the standpoint that this is incentive for a land owner to come into compliance sooner, rather than dragging it out for a year or so... The zoning ordinance requires the replacement of missing or dead plantings to meet the plan approved by the Plan Commission, so this would have to be done now, and I would prefer it is done voluntarily, rather than getting the Code Enforcement Dept. involved.
