This letter is in compliance with your wishes and the granting of above permission as set forth in your two (2) letters to our company dated July 11, 1972, and signed by three members of the Carmel Board of Trustees. Williams Associates, Inc., South Bend, Indiana, and dated July, 1912, were submitted to Mr. Fred Hohl, Town Engineer, for his study and recommendations. The sanitary sewer and watermain extension and design, according to Mx. Hohl, does meet with the Town of Carmel's specifications and requirements. Therefore, the Board of Trustees of the Town of Carmel hereby, grants approval for construction of said sanitary sewers and watermain and will accept them into the Town of Carmel upon completion according to said specifications and the following requirements: 1. The installation of said sanitary sewers shall be subject to payment of the three hundred and fifty dollars ($350.00) per acre availability cost to the Town of Carmel.) 2. The Town of Carmel shall be furnished a three (3) year mainte- nance bond upon completion of said sanitary sewers and water- main. 3. The Town of Carmel will agree to reimbursement of any over sizing cost of sanitary sewer only, as established, based upon the actual construction cost of the sanitary sewers and as specified in the Town of Carmel Ordinance Number S-15. The sewers and watermain have been constructed as indicated on the plans prepared by Clyde E. Williams Associates, Inc., and a set of "as bilt drawings" and a maintenance bond in the amount of $4,000.00 accompanies this request. Also, please find attached a copy of legal descriptions of tracts of ground included in the acreage of the above development. The total acreage involved equals ninety and forty -one hundredths (90.41) acres. In compliance with the Town of Carmel's Interceptor Sewer.Con- nection, ordinance number S -15, dated on the twenty- fourth day of March, 1970, I am enclosing a check in the amount of $31,643.50 for the payment of the cost incurred under the terms of the ordinance. In accordance with Section 4 and 12 of the above ordinance, Gradle Brothers, Inc. is entitled to a refund of costs for oversizing.
