Filer running loose, and numerous vehicles January 19, 2000 Carmel Department of Community Services 1 Carmel Civic Square Carmel, IN 46032 RE: Possible Zoning Infraction Dear Zoning Board: A residential home at 2205 E. 99's St. may be.in violation of several zoning ordinances. There is a home inspection business, being run out of two, two car garages attached to the home and the front of the home is rentalproperty. The owner of the home lives elsewhere and uses the back portion ofthe.honie on 99`s St. to run his business. fe This situation is becoming a nuisance to the neighborhood. The current circumstances have been occurring for several years now,.and there appears to be no end in sight. There is excessive traffic at the home as the business.employs several people who come and go during the day, evenings and weekends. Plus, there are numerous FedEx and UPS deliveries daily along with the traffic caused by the renters. Additionally, there is an accumulation of trash on the property, the renters own a dog that is allowed to roam the neighborhood, and there appears to be numerous vehicles and a large motor home stored on the property. I would appreciate it if the Zoning Board would look in to this matter to determine if the homeowner has a right to run this type of business fromahe home,.rent out a portion of the home; and store items on the property. Our, neighborhood is a residential neighborhood and in my opinion, this situation violates the meaning of home ownership and good neighbors. I would like to remain anonymous as -the source of this complaint for reasons I -am sure you can understand. Sincerely, ' A Concerned Citizen •
