From: DeVore, Laura B [mailto:ldevore@carmel.in.gov] Sent: Tuesday, May 20, 2008 3:22 PM To: Isaacs, Jonathan Subject: Signage Issues I apologize for the inappropriate scope of this email, as I am certain this goes beyond the duties of your title, however, I was hoping that you could forward this on to the appropriate contact and copy me on that email as the complainants/property owners (Lakes of Carmel Partners LP) are highly concerned and insulted by Centex's lack of respect and the disregard shown by the placement of illegal bandit signs advertising for Centex Homes (See Photo Attached) on their property, located at 382 Arbor Drive in the City of Carmel (Near Carmel Drive and Adams), in front of their permanent signage in a location that is nowhere near a location where Centex is building. The use of such signs in the City of Carmel is PROHIBITED. (Please see attached listing of prohibited signs in the City of Carmel) Please discontinue the use of these signs and, at the property owner's request, please do not place these signs on their property anymore. I thank you for Centex's attention and prompt response to these issues and it further reinforces Centex's commitment to acquiescence within the City of Carmel.
