On behalf of Walgreens it is greatly appreciated. Please find attached updated 'building elevations' and 'signage details' PDFs reflecting updated SF calculations of signage using a simple box frame as was previously coordinated. Walgreens has elected to maintain the size of the proposed script signs as is even though we have additional SF that could be utilized on the North and West elevations. As you'll see, even with the revised calculations, the proposed signage yields less square footage than the existing signage. Christina I will let you administer /coordinate the signage permit processes with Rachel with this data forwarded on your behalf. Sincerely, Bill William B. Drive Thru Pharmacy: 11.04 s.f. proposed, 12.6 s.f. existing 1.56 sq. ft. left over OK 2. Exit sign: 1.86 s.f. proposed, 2.08 s.f. existing .22 sq. ft. left over less than 3 sq. ft. OK 3. North and West Building Elevation Walgreens signs: 49.93 s.f. proposed, 33.5 s.f. existing per sign permit does not include capital 'W' and bottom of 'g', 62.19 s.f. actually existing counting capital 'W' and bottom of 'g' POSSIBLE problem... a. POSSIBLE solutions: i. North: 90 sq. ft. allowed by Non- highway sign chart, If we go by highway chart, 75 sq. ft. of signage is allowed ii. West: 75 sq. ft. allowed by Highway sign chart in chapter 25.07. b. When these variances were approved, the B -3 /business zone only allowed signs to be 10 sq. ft. each. That is why the sizing seems so off. c. 1 think the best option would be to let them go up to the 75 sq. ft. that is allowed, now, so that the sign looks more proportionate to the building. Please let me know what you think. Following up with you on the second Walgreens renovation project in the Carmel jurisdiction. I have attached the exterior elevation and signage sheets along with other items for your reference and review. Unlike our initial store on Rangeline, this location's proposed exterior scope is very limited. Aside from basic maintenance (i.e. cosmetic patch repair), Walgreens is only looking to replace existing signage with energy efficient LED lighting and lower 3 select window locations on the West Elevation. And due to the type of glazing system, replacement of adjacent existing units is required as a result (replacement sections will be same size as existing). And like the Rangeline location, all new signage is same size or smaller in square footage than existing, including directional drive thru signage. If needed, I have also included the site plan on file and the legal description for the property as received from Walgreens. Upon review, I would hope that this location could be processed and approved administratively. Should you need additional data from me or need additional paperwork completed, please let me know and I can expedite it for you. Sincerely, Bill nn William B.
