Included with this letter is a site design review application and supplemental information
for Lot #1 Applegate Subdivision at the NW corner of 2nd Ave and 2nd Street NW which
was recently subdivided. We are filing these plans on behalf of our clients Steve and
Jacque Kirsh.
Based on the initial design conversation we had with you and Mike Hollibaugh about the
plans last week we have made some adjustments to the plans that eliminated the shed
roof area and cantilever by the fireplace location. We think the revisions will look much
better and the 8' setback in this location is not out of line with other measurements in the
area. We have considered the height of the nearest existing contributing structures in our
design of the Kirsh home and made sure that its maximum height is within 7'.
As previously discussed, we will be submitting this SDR package in two phases. Today
we are submitting the required information in order for us to pull the building permit.
This includes both the lot plan and the home plans with four -sided elevations.
The items we will provide for you at a later date, but prior to finalization of the home and
installation will be the following:

size of fixtures, and foot candle limits.
2. Two (2) copies of the landscaping plan indicating the location of plantings, types and sizes of plantings, planting
details, and mounding locations and details.
3. Two (2) copies of the signage plan indicating the location, size, materials and colors of any proposed signs.
4. Prepare an estimated construction cost to comply with the Thoroughfare Plan Alternative Transportation Plan
