Dear Mr. Courtney:
At the meeting held Monday, September 26, 2011, the Carmel Advisory Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer
took the following action regarding the Developmental Standards Variances (V) filed by you for the property located
at 4620 E. 96 Street.
APPROVED: Docket Nos. 11070001 V through 11070002 V: Development Standards Variances for number of signs (5
proposed, 4 allowed) and number of signs facing one public right -of -way, south (5 proposed, 4 allowed).
Please be advised that per Section 30.05.05: Time Limit of the Zoning Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standard Variance approvals are valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one -time, six -month extension of the approval must have been
received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approvals is September 26, 2014.
Please include a copy of this letter with any sign permit application.
