She grew up in Carmel, where she excelled in both academics and athletics. •Winter 2010 It seemed Chaucie had a wonderful life. In reality, her father had Summer 2009 been sexually abusing her since`she was 11 years of age. Spring 2010 Chaucie found the courage to report her abuse when she was Summer 2010 18. Her father was prosecuted, but after a two -week trial the jury was unable to reach a unanimous verdict. Chaucie's Place is the 501(c)(3) not for profit Agency, or child advocacy center in Hamilton County. The center opened The Depaitment of Child its doors on April 30, 2001 and has since served over 2,600 Services Hotline children.
