Dear Angie,
Included with this letter is a site design review application and supplemental information
for the lot at 620 1 Ave NW which was recently subdivided as part of the First and Sixth
NW Subdivision. We are filing these plans on behalf of our clients Stanley and Allison
Chen. The Chens plan to break ground on this home as soon as our permitting is
completed.
As you can see, the Chens plan has a classic farm house front elevation that should be
complimentary to the existing older home at 1 st Ave NW. The front elevation is
designed to be viewed at an angle as you pull up the private lane with the wrap around
porch on the inside corner being the focal point. Also, we have considered the height of
the existing contributing structure in our design of the Chen home and made sure that its
maximum height is within 7' of the adjacent contributing home.
As previously discussed, we will be submitting this SDR package in two phases. Today
we are submitting the required information in order for us to pull the building permit.
This includes both the lot plan and the home plans with four -sided elevations.
The items we will provide for you at a later date, but prior to finalization of the home and
installation will be the following:
Exterior Colors for Paint, Gutters, Roofing, and Brick
Landscape Plan
